Pengaruh Posisi Pronasi terhadap Derajat Keparahan Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) pada Pasien Covid-19

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) merupakan penyakit pernafasan akut yang dapat diperburuk dengan Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), gagal multiorgan, syok septik, dan gagal jantung akut yang memerlukan perawatan intensif. Posisi pronasi dapat berperan dalam mencegah perburukan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran posisi pronasi dalam penatalaksanaan pasien Covid-19. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen dan one group pre-test post-test. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 32 pasien Covid-19 yang dirawat di Intensive Care Unit (ICU) dengan Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) sebagai responden yang dipilih dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan wilcoxon test. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah Lung Injury Score (LIS) dan lembar observasi hasil parameter dari bedside monitor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posisi pronasi dapat menurunkan derajat keparahan ARDS pada pasien Covid-19. Posisi pronasi dapat direkomendasikan sebagai intervensi keperawatan pada pasein dewasa Covid-19 yang mengalami gangguan penapasan.
