Abstract

Se presenta un sistema innovador para el refuerzo de elementos de hormigón, pilares, vigas y forjados, con morteros de ultra-alta resistencia armados en masa con fibras metálicas estructurales en capa delgada. El sistema permite reforzar pilares mediante recrecido de bajo espesor, vigas de hormigón a flexión y cortante, losas de hormigón armado, forjados reticulares y forjados unidireccionales de vigueta-bovedilla mediante la extensión, por la parte superior del forjado, de un mortero con alta resistencia a la tracción y elevadísima resistencia a la compresión, de forma que se obtiene una sección reforzada capaz de resistir mayores cargas tanto en zona de momentos positivos, debido al incremento del brazo de flexión, como en zona de momentos positivos, ya que el mortero soporta altas tensiones a tracción trabajando como una armadura de negativos adherida. Gracias a la formulación del mortero, que le confiere alta adherencia al soporte y retracción compensada, se consigue una sección monolítica sin necesidad de puentes de unión, conexiones al forjado ni mallazo de refuerzo adicional como se precisa en el refuerzo mediante recrecido de hormigón tradicional. Se presenta el sistema y los ensayos realizados que demuestran su idoneidad técnica para el fin perseguido.
