Abstract

Penelitian karakteristik geologi teknik daerah Prambanan dan sekitarnya, dibatasi koordinat 442800mE-449800mE dan 9136500mN-9142000mN. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data primer, meliputi penyelidikan geologi teknik permukaan dan dekat permukaan dengan pengamatan sifat fisik dan keteknikan batuan maupun tanah serta penggunaan klasifikasi Rock Mass Rating (RMR) dan uji kuat geser tanah menggunakan Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, daerah Prambanan dan sekitarnya memiliki karakteristik geologi teknik berupa: Litologi terbagi menjadi 6 satuan (muda-tua): satuan pasir sedang, satuan pasir halus, satuan lanau, satuan tuf, satuan lapili, dan satuan batupasir. Morfologi bervariasi dari kelerengan rendah (<8°) hingga tinggi (>30°). Struktur geologi berupa kekar, rekahan, dan sesar turun dengan arah tenggara-barat laut membentuk morfologi gawir. Kedalaman muka airtanah daerah dataran cenderung dangkal (1,86 m-8,2 m) sedangkan daerah perbukitan cenderung dalam (3,8 m-16,5 m). Nilai daya dukung batuan 45 t/m2-280 t/m2 dan daya dukung tanah 2,1 t/m2-3,4 t/m2 dengan tingkat pelapukan sedikit lapuk hingga ekstrim lapuk. Kata kunci: RMR, DCP, Karakteristik Geologi Teknik
