Associação entre gestantes com SARS-CoV-2 e o risco de trabalho de parto prematuro

Abstract

Objetivo: Investigar na literatura a existência de evidências científicas que associem gestantes com SARS-CoV-2 ao trabalho de parto prematuro. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa realizada nas bases de dados: BVS, SciELO, MEDLINE/PubMed e Cochrane. Foram incluídos 18 artigos. Resultados: As comorbidades maternas mais comuns foram a hipertensão arterial e a diabetes. Houveram menções de restrição de crescimento intrauterino e de nascimento de recém-nascidos de baixo peso. O tipo de parto mais comum foi a cesariana e a ocorrência de nascimentos prematuros foi descrita em todos os estudos. Em 77,7% dos estudos, neonatos testaram positivo para COVID-19. Conclusão: A piora do estado materno pode indicar um fator de risco para parto prematuro. A infecção neonatal pelo SARS-CoV-2 foi relatada, porém existem lacunas sobre o mecanismo da transmissão vertical e os impactos para os neonatos prematuros. O índice de prematuridade em gestantes infectadas pela COVID-19 é maior que em gestantes saudáveis.
