Dinámica no lineal de vigas piezoeléctricas pandeadas producto de cargas axiales para aplicaciones de recolección de energía

Abstract

En este trabajo, estudiamos numérica y experimentalmente la generación de energía de un recolector piezoeléctrico sometido a una carga axial estática. Esta fuerza aplicada permite alterar la frecuencia natural del dispositivo, lo cual lo hace altamente atractivo para conseguir su funcionamiento en estado de resonancia del mismo, maximizando su rendimiento. Para llevar a cabo nuestro estudio, obtenemos una solución reducida al complejo modelo analítico que contempla fuentes de no linealidad inercial, geométricas y constitutivas para el material piezoeléctrico, acorde al Método de Escalas Múltiples (MEM). Esta solución es comparada con los resultados experimentales obtenidas en condiciones de laboratorio mostrando buena correlación. Nuestros hallazgos numéricos y experimentales obtenidos, confirman que es posible variar la frecuencia natural del dispositivo mediante una correcta elección de la carga axial. Ademas, identificamos claramente los comportamientos no lineales de endurecimiento y ablandamiento para los estados de pre- como post-pandeo respectivamente.
