Abstract

La contaminación acústica representa uno de los más grandes impactos ambientales en las ciudades, ésta siempre ha estado vinculada con el crecimiento poblacional. El desarrollo urbano implica un incremento en los niveles de ruido, sobre todo en los lugares donde se concentra el mayor flujo vehicular y comercial. El ruido ambiente tiene efectos que recientemente se están estudiando, motivo por lo cual es necesario evaluar de manera precisa su incidencia en el grado de confort y calidad de vida de las y los cuencanos. Con estas premisas, como Corporación Municipal con la Comisión de Gestión Ambiental hemos elaborado el estudio de línea base del comportamiento del ruido en la ciudad. 78 páginas ISBN: 978-9978-325-40-7
