Abstract

La importancia de lo cognitivo, con los progresos revolucionarios de la tecnología electrónica, se ha tornado relativa. Las máquinas resultaron un recurso extraordinario en cuanto a información y datos, en números, en textos, en imágenes, en sonidos y música. Ver y oír todo lo del mundo se tornó accesible. La tecnología, que va desde lo instrumental de los libros para el conocimiento, lo audiovisual, la literatura, la música, provoca sentimientos y emociones. El poder de las máquinas para una serie de operaciones, resulta más allá de fantástico, increíble. Pero no pueden las máquinas reemplazar a las capacidades corporales, pues pensamiento y sentimiento son inseparables, se basan en recuerdos, conocimientos y afectos que se corresponden con las funciones corporales, volviendo complejas las expresiones y capacidades humanas, creativas e innovadoras. Las máquinas no pueden sentir ni crear más allá de lo que se les alimenta y ordena.
