Treinamento de força: inflamação e reparo

Abstract

O treinamento de força (TF) vem ganhando cada vez mais popularidade e adeptos, durante os últimos anos, e associado í melhora da qualidade de vida e saúde. No entanto, é consenso na literatura que o TF promove microlesões celulares, também chamadas de dano muscular. O sistema imunológico apresenta um papel fundamental no processo de reparo, regeneração e crescimento muscular, por meio de células de defesa como neutrófilos, macrófagos e citocinas, frente ao estresse mecânico imposto. Esse fenômeno induz o direcionamento de células satélites para o local do dano muscular, iniciando os processos de remodelamento tecidual. Portanto o objetivo deste estudo foi revisar e discutir os efeitos do treinamento de força, sua influência nos mecanismos inflamatórios e no remodelamento da musculatura esquelética. Analisamos os mais relevantes estudos cientí­ficos originais e de revisão publicados no perí­odo de 1993 a 2013. Foram utilizadas para nossaspesquisas as bases de dados Science Citation Index, Scopus, Sport Discus, Scielo e National Library of Medicine. As palavras-chave usadas foram: treinamento de força, resposta inflamatória, dano muscular, reparo.Palavras-chave: treinamento de força, resposta inflamatória, dano muscular, reparo.
