Abstract

The author shares the experience of organizing the events at the Averbakh Center for Chess Culture and Business Information Office of the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology (RNPLS&T). The author reviews the activities exercised by these two divisions, the recent events, discusses their functions and goals, and examines the plans for the future to promote the chess culture and business information.
