Este artículo puede servir como una introducción al área de ecuaciones funcionales dando los ejemplos mas "naturales", aquellos involucrando funciónes exponenciales y trigonométricas familiares para los estudiantes. Presentamos aquí una prueba alternativa del hecho de que el sistema de ecuaciones funcionales (1.1) y (1.2) en el conjunto de funcionescontinuas tiene las soluciones dadas por (1.3). La prueba es elemental, pero matemáticamente rigurosa, y por lo tanto, particularmente apropiada para estudiantes (secundarios) avanzados
