Pengaruh Karakteristik Agregat Terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton Mutu Tinggi

Abstract

Kualitas beton mutu tinggi salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh kualitas agregat, kualitas agregat akan tergantung kondisi geologis, geografis, kondisi iklim dan proses dimana terbentuknya agregat tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik agregat halus dan agregat kasar dari tiga sumber yaitu Sungai Jeneberang, Sungai Lekopancing dan Sungai Pangkajene, serta pengaruhnya terhadap kuat tekan beton mutu tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tahapan; pengujian karakteristik agregat halus dan agregat kasar, perancangan komposisi campuran beton dan pembuatan benda uji beton, pengujian kuat tekan, serta analisis pengaruh karakteristik agregat terhadap kuat tekan beton mutu tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik agregat halus dari Sungai Jeneberang secara keseluruhan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan agregat halus dari Sungai Maros dan Sungai Pangkajene. Sementara karakteristik agregat kasar dari Sungai Maros umumnya lebih baik dari pada karakteristik agregat kasar dari Sungai Jeneberang dan Sungai Pangkajene. Kuat tekan yang dihasilkan semakin tinggi linier dengan karakteristik agregat halus maupun agregat kasar. Hasil analisis regresi linier hubungan masing-masing karakteristik agregat halus dengan kuat tekan beton mutu tinggi menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan, yakni; kadar organik 99.6%, kadar air 86.7%, berat jenis 98.2%, berat isi 98%, absorpsi 98.8% dan MHB 90.3%, kecuali kadar lumpur hanya berpengaruh 7%. Demikian juga agregat kasar secara umum berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kuat tekan beton mutu tinggi, yakni keausan 99.8%, kadar air 99.8%, berat jenis 99.2%, berat isi 92.6%, dan absorpsi 76.2%, kecuali kadar lumpur yang hanya 33.2%, dan MHB 29.8%.
