Abstract

Tras la instalación de las dictaduras de Seguridad Nacional en América Latina, México se convirtió en un lugar de refugio y reorganización para diferentes exiliados. Entre aquellos que arribaron, la presencia de psicoanalistas de Argentina y Uruguay constituyó un hecho sobresaliente. La llegada de los rioplatenses tuvo implicaciones francas en la enseñanza, la divulgación y en las formas de practicar el psicoanálisis. El exilio permitió la formación de nuevos grupos, abonó en proyectos editoriales, en la extensión de consultorios; también contribuyó ganando presencia en recintos universitarios y en instituciones de salud pública. Además, algunos exiliados cooperaron con la atención clínica de otros expatriados, se sumaron al clima de denuncia y se involucraron en proyectos solidarios dentro y fuera de México. En este trabajo se da cuenta de la politización de estos actores, las razones de su expatriación e incursión en suelo mexicano, así como las implicaciones que tuvo su llegada.
