Abstract

La lectura es la interacción de un lector con un texto para adquirir información, el cual es comprendido mediante un abordaje estratégico en el que las estrategias de lectura son recursos del lector para comprender el texto. Las estrategias de comprensión lectora utilizadas por bachilleres han sido poco estudiadas, por tanto el objetivo del presente trabajo fue identificar las estrategias de comprensión lectora en estudiantes del último año del bachillerato. Para ello se empleó un diseño exploratorio, transversal y cualitativo, mediante una prueba de comprensión lectora y una entrevista semiestructurada. Se observó que los participantes prefirieron estrategias de focalización de la información, empleadas para precisar su significado y que así obtenga otro sentido, resultando más significativa. También se emplearon estrategias generales para resolver problemas de procesamiento de la información. Los lectores emplearon estrategias de comprensión conforme con los objetivos de la lectura, utilizando estrategias de focalización y generales.
