La disidencia en las fronteras

Abstract

Este artículo tiene como objetivo describir y analizar los aportes que Gloria Anzaldúa brindó a los estudios chicanos desde el saberse mujer chicana, feminista y queer. Para llevar a cabo dicha indagación en primera instancia se presentará un recorrido histórico del complejo proceso migratorio México-Estados Unidos: sus principales rasgos y características. Posteriormente, se describirá el vínculo que existe entre el proceso migratorio y el surgir de la identidad chicana. Lo anterior con la intención de presentar un recorrido histórico del surgimiento del movimiento chicano. Finalmente, se plantea analizar la participación de las mujeres feministas en el movimiento desde un enfoque interseccional y particularmente se busca analizar el rol de la autora Gloria Anzaldúa como una de las principales exponentes del movimiento chicano concebido en las fronteras y disidencias: del ser mujer, chicana y queer.
