Los sistemas tributarios en la economía global: evidencia de América del Norte (tlcan)

Abstract

El presente documento hace una descripción del sistematributario de los países que conforman el tratado de libre comercio de América del Norte: Estados Unidos, Canadá y México. Para dicho análisis se tomaron en cuenta las potestades de cada sistema, los impuestos aplicados y el nivel fomento y promoción que dichos países realizan para generaruna cultura fiscal, además se mencionan como, desde la perspectiva de la globalización económica, existen algunos retos que en condiciones muy particulares cada sistema enfrenta y que en la actualidad son de gran importancia para el desarrollo económico de dichos países. La importancia de realizar comparaciones de los sistemas nos permitirá entender las deficiencias de los mismos y cómo se puede brindar más poder tributario a los Estados, otro aspecto sobre este trabajo es la importancia que tiene la internacionalización del derecho tributario, lo que impacta fuertemente en la política fiscal de los gobiernos antes mencionados. Entre los hallazgos más importantes se encuentra el hecho de que el número de contribuyentes en México es mucho menor que el de los otros países que conforman el bloque, razón por la cual las tasas impositivas son más altas, lo que repercute directamente en el bolsillo del contribuyente.
