Coaching im Individual Placement and Support (IPS)

Abstract

Der Beitrag gliedert sich in zwei Teile. Im ersten Abschnitt wird ein allgemeiner Überblick über Coachingansätze gegeben und die Entwicklung hin zum Jobcoaching umrissen. Da ein großer Teil der Langzeitarbeitslosen unter psychischen Störungen leidet und ein großer Teil der in klinischer Behandlung befindlichen Menschen aus dem Arbeitsleben exkludiert sind, stellt diese Personengruppe den Schwerpunkt im Jobcoaching dar. Im zweiten Teil wird das Individual Placement and Support (IPS) vorgestellt, ein nachweislich wirksamer Ansatz für Menschen mit schweren psychischen Erkrankungen, einen Arbeits-/Ausbildungsplatz auf dem allgemeinen Arbeitsmarkt zu finden und langfristig zu erhalten. Eine Fallvignette soll den Prozess im IPS nachvollziehbar werden lassen.
