Abstract

Un reto importante para la educación superior en nuestro país consiste en consolidarse como un medio en el que se encuentren de manera sistemática, los instrumentos académico - administrativos que guíen el quehacer institucional en la evaluación de la pertinencia y la calidad de los planes y programas de estudio, nivel de satisfacción de los egresados con su formación, inserción en el mercado laboral nacional e internacional, satisfacción de las necesidades de los empleadores y precisión de la educación de los egresados con respecto a los estudios de posgrado nacional e internacional. El presente trabajo contiene elementos diagnósticos de algunas instituciones de educación superior sobre los egresados de las carreras de Computación y áreas afines, los cuales dan cuenta del problema de la apatía institucional con respecto a ellos. Se resalta la importancia de la participación de los egresados en proyectos de beneficio tanto para la institución como para ellos, a través de la vinculación y se proponen elementos para su “reincersión” institucional, tomando en cuenta las tecnologías de información de vanguardia, los estándares nacionales de los organismos acreditadores y los estándares internacionales como el Acuerdo de Seúl. An important challenge for higher education in our country is to consolidate itself as a means in which the academic - administrative instruments that guide the institutional work in the evaluation of the relevance and quality of the programs and Study, level of satisfaction of the graduates with their training, insertion in the national and international labor market, satisfaction of the needs of the employers and precision of the education of the graduates with respect to their work and, as appropriate, to the studies National and international postgraduate courses. The present work contains diagnostic elements of some institutions of higher education about the graduates of the careers of Computing and related areas, which account for the problem of institutional apathy with respect to them. The importance of the participation of the graduates in projects of benefit for both the institution and for them is highlighted, through linking and proposing elements for its institutional "reincersion", taking into account cutting-edge information technologies, the national standards of accrediting bodies and international standards such as the Seoul Agreement.
