A interdisciplinaridade no câncer avança

Abstract

O 1 Congresso Brasileiro de Serviço Social em Oncologia, realizado em Vitória - ES no último mês de novembro, marcou o encerramento de uma fase de trabalho que durou cerca de 1 ano, dotando ao Brasil uma Sociedade Brasileira de Serviço Social em Oncologia que nasce amadurecida e pujante, tendo a sua frente uma profissional vibrante, que mostrou neste período de organização o quanto um trabalho obstinado pode produzir. A forma que encontramos de brindar o nascimento de tão alvissareiro projeto foi elaborar este editorial que se completa com extratos do discurso proferido pela Assistente Social Giovana do Prado Ventorim, presidente do Congresso e da Sociedade Brasileira de Serviço Social em Oncologia.
