Biografieforschung in den Erziehungswissenschaften

Abstract

Die Biografieforschung hat sich als ein zentrales Forschungsfeld in den Erziehungswissenschaften etabliert. Mithilfe überwiegend qualitativer Forschungsmethoden werden empirische Daten aus unterschiedlichen pädagogischen Handlungsfeldern (bspw. Familie, Schule, Hochschule, Erwachsenenbildung) gewonnen und mit zahlreichen theoretischen Konzepten (bspw. Habitus-, Bildungs- oder Lerntheorie) verknüpft, die wiederum in verschiedenen Sub-Disziplinen der Erziehungswissenschaften (bspw. in Sozial-, Sonder- oder Schulpädagogik) diskutiert werden. Der Beitrag gibt einen systematischen Überblick über zwei zentrale Rezeptionswege der erziehungswissenschaftlichen Biografieforschung und stellt zentrale Forschungsfragen, Erkenntnisse und Desiderate dar.
