Almost all the typical genres of modern journalism appeared on Gia Dinh Bao, including news, editorials, features, reportages, feuilletons, etc. However, all the genres were conveyed in the forms of pure, basic and simple writing styles. The unclear distinction among these genres led to the creation of many interesting hybrids.
