Revisión metodológica de índices de precios de la vivienda

Abstract

Este documento es una revision de las principales metodologias existentes para construir indices de precios de vivienda, y hace enfasis en las implementadas en Colombia. Pretende que cualquier agente interesado en el estudio de la evolucion de los precios de la vivienda pueda encontrar una explicacion sencilla y practica de los diferentes metodos para el calculo de este tipo de indices, las fuentes de datos requeridas, y las ventajas y desventajas de cada uno. Por ultimo, se presenta una comparacion entre los indices de precios de vivienda disponibles en Colombia y un breve analisis de su evolucion mas reciente.
