OCORRÊNCIA DE ÁCAROS EM SERINGUEIRA IRRIGADA EM CULTIVO INICIAL

Abstract

O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a ocorrência de ácaros em seringueira irrigada com talhões de diferentes idades em cultivo inicial. Foi estudada a fauna de ácaros fitófagos e predadores em dois talhões de seringueira com duas idades de implantação (26 e 31 meses), localizados em Cassilândia-MS. Foram realizadas coletas quinzenais, no período de novembro de 2010 a maio de 2011. Foram estabelecidos 30 pontos por talhão, onde 10 plantas foram amostradas coletando-se dois folíolos por planta, totalizando 120 folíolos por coleta. Foi registrado o número total de ácaros encontrados em ambas as faces. No total, foram coletados 477 ácaros, sendo as famílias Tetranychidae e Tenuipalpidae com o maior número de indivíduos, 150 e 148, respectivamente. A espécie de maior ocorrência foi Tenuipalpus heveae Baker, sendo seu pico populacional em março, após a estação chuvosa. Observou-se a preferência dos ácaros pelo talhão com plantas com idade mais avançada. A ocorrência da principal espécie de ácaro-praga da cultura da seringueira (Calacarus heveae Feres) foi baixa nos períodos avaliados.
