PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MEMBACA PERMULAAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK DENGAN MODEL VARK DI KELAS I SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan Model Plomp terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu: (1) preliminary research atau analisis pendahuluan, (2) prototyping phase atau tahap perancangan, dan (3) assesment stage atau tahap penilaian. Adapun jabaran pembahasan pengembangan yang dilakukan dapat diuraikan terkait validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas bahan ajar membaca permulaan yang dikembangkan. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan sudah dinyatakan sangat valid dengan perolehan rata-rata 93.10% dan dapat digunakan dalam proses membaca permulaan. Praktikalitas dibuktikan dengan hasil uji coba pratikalitas bahan ajar dengan menggunakan angket pendidik dan peserta didik yang diperoleh 99.3% . Bahan ajar berbasis metode Visual, Auditory, Reading, And Kinesthetic ( Vark ) yang dikembangkan dinyatakan efektif, dan ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik dengan rata-rata 96.25% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan rata-rata kemampuan visual siswa 91.07%, rata-rata kemampuan auditory peserta didik 93.65%, rata-rata kemampuan reading peserta didik 86.50%, rata-rata kemampuan kinesthetic peserta didik 95.43% sedangkan, rata-rata kemampuan Visual, Auditory, Reading, dan Kinesthetic peserta didik 91.66% dengan kategori sangat baik. Ini berarti bahwa bahan membaca permulaan dalam pembelajaran tematik dengan model vark sangat efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran membaca di kelas I SD.
