ANALISA JENIS DAN KERUSAKAN JALAN DENGAN METODE PAVEMENT CONDITION INDEX (PCI) PADA PERKERASAN KAKU (RIGID PAVEMENT)

Abstract

Kerusakan jalan yang terjadi di Kabupaten Indramayu merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang tak kunjung hentinya sehingga mengalami kerugian bagi para pengguna jalan. Dalam mengetahui nilai kondisi kerusakan permukaan jalan maka digunakan suatu metode penilaian, dimana dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) sebagai acuan penetapan penilaian kondisi permukaan jalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei atau lebih tepatnya survei kondisi visual. Keseluruhan unit sampel yang diteliti pada ruas jalan Cikamurang – Jangga sebanyak 22 unit. Kondisi jalan pada ruas tersebut masih tergolong dalam kondisi sedang (fair), dari keseluruhan unit sampel yang diteliti hanya 13.64% (3) unit sampel saja yang mengalami kerusakan dan tergolong dalam kategori buruk (poor). Kerusakan banyak terjadi pada unit sampel 1 s/d 15 sedangkan unit sampel 16 s/d 22 masih tergolong baik sebab perkerasan permukaan jalan merupakan bangunan baru. Namun jenis kerusakan yang paling dominan pada setiap unit sampel yaitu retak linear sebesar 100%, pecah sudut sebesar 81.81%, gompal sambungan (spalling joint) sebesar 72.72%, pelat terbagisebesar 68.18%, dan punchout sebesar 45.45%. Sehingga prioritas penangan pertama dilakukan pada unit sampel penelitian dengan nilai PCI terkecil, yaitu nomor 5,6, dan 7 dengan nilai PCI 40,33, dan 22 (rating buruk dan sangat buruk).
