Este livro apresenta relatos de experiências e convivência de mães brasileiras sertanejas de indivíduos com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) ao descrever as características emocionais, sociais e psicológicas do espectro para os contextos familiar e social. Além disso aproxima a comunidade com a academia ao descrever diferentes tipos de conhecimento científicos capazes de facilitar o desenvolvimento das pessoas com TEA, minimizar danos e proporcionar resultados significativos no bem-estar dessa população e de seus familiares.
