Abstract

Kesadaran dan pengetahuan tentang pengolahan sampah yang baik dan tepat, akan dapat mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan ataupun bencana akibat sampah. Permasalahan sampah perlu perhatian dan penanganan khusus sehingga dapat mewujudkan lingkungan sehat dan bersih, salah satunya di lingkungan MTs Abu Darrin Bojonegoro. Besarnya siswa-siswi, guru dan karyawan mengakibatkan banyaknya tumpukan sampah yang dihasilkan oleh karena itu diperlukan penanganan untuk pengolahan sampah khususnya sampah plastik dengan membuat mesin pirolisis. Mesin Pirolisis merupakan mesin yang digunakan untuk merubah sampah menjadi bahan bakar. Metode yang dilakukan terdapat beberapa tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan. Hasil kesimpulan yang diperoleh setelah dilakukan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, memberikan manfaat berupa solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan sampah yang menumpuk di MTs Abu Darrin dengan aplikasi teknologi ramah lingkungan mesin pirolisis. Pengabdian ini juga mengajarkan siswa-siswi agar lebih peduli terhadap permasalahan sampah yang ada di lingkungan sekitar mereka.
