細菌性腎臓病感染魚の卵について, パラフィン切片での螢光抗体法による原因菌の検出を試みた。ブアン固定を行った卵で常法通り作製した切片にFAT染色を施した結果, 良孝な成績を得た。この方法はBKDの診断上一つの有用な方法であると思われる。
