Indicadores de calidad para revistas de ciencias sociales en la era de la bibliometría narrativa

Abstract

En el contexto actual de la evaluación científica, impulsado por movimientos como CoARA, se observa una transición desde modelos puramente cuantitativos hacia una bibliometría narrativa que combina indicadores métricos con una justificación cualitativa del impacto. Este trabajo analiza cómo las revistas científicas, especialmente en ciencias sociales, pueden adaptarse a este nuevo paradigma para potenciar su “valor curricular” y facilitar a los autores la defensa de sus contribuciones en procesos de acreditación y sexenios. La metodología empleada consiste en una revisión exhaustiva de la documentación y criterios de las principales agencias de evaluación españolas (como Aneca y CNEAI) y organismos de indexación como Fecyt y SciELO. Como resultado, se propone una lista de verificación (checklist) para editores que clasifica indicadores clave en cinco categorías fundamentales: acceso y apertura, calidad editorial, ética e integridad, transparencia de procesos, e impacto y visibilidad. Se concluye que la adopción de prácticas como la publicación en acceso abierto (especialmente la Vía Diamante), la transparencia en la contribución de autoría (CRediT) y la publicación de datos son esenciales para alinear los intereses de las revistas con las nuevas necesidades narrativas de los investigadores.
