Nuevos retos en la gestión documental y preservación digital en empresas de ingeniería

Abstract

Los trabajos y proyectos de ingeniería generan documentos y registros esenciales para el funcionamiento y mantenimiento de nuestra forma de vida hoy en día. Muchas de las infraestructuras, edificios y productos resultantes deben perdurar a lo largo del tiempo y de ahí deriva la necesidad para las empresas de mantener las evidencias de cómo se hacen e hicieron las cosas. Para conservar a largo plazo estos activos de información nacidos digitales, hay que plantearse la aplicación de prácticas de preservación digital, que no pueden ir disociadas de una adecuada gestión documental desde el momento en que se crean y generan dichos documentos y contenidos.
