
Abstract SENECA is a tungsten-chromium type of hot work steel having good red hardness and resistance to abrasion. It will withstand high operating temperatures up to 1000 deg. F for long periods. It is a SAE type IV F-2 alloy. This datasheet provides information on composition and hardness as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, and machining.
