VDM 330

Abstract

Abstract VDM 330 (Nicrofer 3718) is an austenitic iron-nickel-chromium-silicon alloy with good high-temperature strength and good resistance to carburization, thermal shock, and high temperature oxidation. It is used extensively in high-temperature environments where resistance to the combined effects of thermal cycling and carburization is required. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-1364. Producer or source: VDM Metals GmbH (a subsidiary of Acerinox, S.A.).
