Abstract URANUS B6 is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content. It was originally developed and used for many years to resist corrosion in dilute sulfuric acid. It is one of the best stainless steels for very aggressive chemical environments, in particular sulfuric and phosphoric acids. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, elasticity, and tensile properties.
