Abstract STAVAX ESR is a hardenable stainless steel designed for plastics molding service. Being stainless, it offers reduced mold maintenance costs and constant cooling efficiency (non-corroding water cooling channels) and enhanced productivity throughout the life of the mold. It is electroslag refined (ESR). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
