Abstract Avesta Polarit 724L is a 17-13-2.5L special austenitic stainless steel developed for use in urea production, especially hot carbamate solutions. The alloy also has a very high resistance to intergranular corrosion. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
