JESSOP JS ALLOY G-3

JESSOP JS ALLOY G-3

Abstract

Abstract JESSOP JS Alloy G-3 is a nickel-base alloy having excellent resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions including stress corrosion. Its low carbon content and stabilization by columbium permit welding without deterioration of corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zone. The alloy is well suited to fabricated equipment for chemical processing and pulp and paper industries. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-348. Producer or source: Jessop Steel Company.
