Katalozi Družbe Isusove u 17. stoljeću o hrvatskim isusovcima piscima

Abstract

Pedro de Ribadeneira SJ počeo je 1602. godine prikupljati podatke o objavljenim vjerskim djelima isusovaca s namjerom da objavi katalog isusovačkih pisaca i njihovih publikacija. Prvi je Ribadeneirin katalog objavljen 1608. godine, a proširena izdanja objavljena su 1609. i 1613. godine. Ribadeneirin katalog nadopunio je Philippe Alegambe SJ te je taj katalog objavljen 1643. godine. Konačna nadopuna i revizija načinjena je pod uredništvom Nathanaela Southwella SJ 1676. godine. U radu su objašnjene okolnosti nastanka i načela uređivanja prvih kataloga isusovačkih pisaca. Pokazano je koliko su i na koji način zastupljeni hrvatski isusovci. Posebna je analiza posvećena razumijevanju jezika kojim su pisali hrvatski isusovci te s tim u vezi njihova nacionalnoga i teritorijalnoga podrijetla ili pripadnosti.
