Managing Operations

Abstract

Manajemen operasional adalah proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengendalian sumber daya untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi secara efektif dan efisien. Pentingnya manajemen operasional yang mencakup jasa dan manufaktur dalam memainkan peran strategis dalam daya saing organisasi. Manufaktur merupakan organisasi yang menggunakan manajemen operasional dalam proses transformasi mengubah bahan mentah menjadi barang fisik ,sedangkan Jasa yaitu menciptakan keluaran nonfisik berupa jasa (aktivitas berinteraksi dengan pelanggan) dan yang di pakai adalah tenaga si pekerja untuk memuaskan service yang di pakai oleh pelanggan.
