Pendidikan Yang Berkualitas Terlahir Dari Daya Fikir Guru Yang Cerdas

Abstract

Guru yang cerdas merupakan guru yang memiliki daya tampung serta fikiran yang cerdas. Tetapi, guru yang cerdas juga tidak dapat menjamin kualitas mutu pendidikan. Maka dari itu cerdas dan sikap juga dapat memengaruhi kualitas pendidikan yang ada di Indonesia. Profesi guru merupakan profesi yang sangat berguna dan bermanfaat dalam dunia pendidikan. Guru merupakan unsur yang paling penting pada saat kita mengetahui apa itu pendidikan. Guru selalu mengajarkan kita dari hal yang tidak kita ketahui hingga kita menjadi tahu, mulai dari sikap kita yang kurang baik menjadi jauh lebih baik. Faktor-faktor yang menentukan kesuksesan pendidikan, Umar (1996) mengklasifikasikan ke dalam tiga kelompok. Pertama, perangkat keras (hardware) yang meliputi ruang belajar, peralatan praktik, laboratorium, perpustakaan, dan sebagainya. Kedua, perangkat lunak (software) yang meliputi kurikulum, program pengajaran dan sebagainya. Serta, ketiga, perangkat pikir (brainware) seperti guru, kepala sekolah, anak didik, dan orang-orang yang terkait dalam proses. Tidak hanya hal itu, guru juga wajib memiliki kualifikasi akademik, kompetensi, sertifikat pendidik, sehat jasmani dan rohani, serta memiliki kemampuan untuk mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional yang berkualitas.
