Strategi Membangun Profesionalisme Guru

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu proses yang berkelanjutan dan tak pernah berakhir, yang mengembangkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, nilai-nilai, dan sikap seseorang. Proses pendidikan tidak terbatas pada masa sekolah atau perguruan tinggi saja, melainkan perjalanan yang terus menerus sepanjang kehidupan seseorang (Sujana, 2019). Pendidikan merupakan usaha dan terencana dalam mewujudkan suasana belajar dan pembelajaran interaktif supaya peserta didik dapat mengembangkan potensi dalam dirinya (Pristiwanti et al., 2022). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa, pendidikan itu memiliki peran yang penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Adanya pendidikan ini bertujuan untuk mencerdaskan bangsa dan mengembangkan potensi diri mereka. Selain itu, Pendidikan juga membentuk karakter yang kuat sesuai dengan nilai dan norma-norma yang diajarkan, sehingga menjadi pribadi yang bertanggung jawab. Maka dari itu, pentingnya menghasilkan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Kualitas Pendidikan ditentukan dari kualitas guru. Guru tidak hanya sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran, tetapi juga sebagai Guru berperan sebagai pembimbing yang memberikan arahan dan inspirasi kepada siswa. Guru dapat membantu siswa mengidentifikasi potensi dan minat mereka, memberikan saran mengenai pilihan karier, serta memberikan dorongan positif untuk mencapai tujuan mereka. Selain memberikan pengetahuan akademis, guru juga berperan dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Guru mengajarkan nilai-nilai seperti tanggung jawab, kerja sama, dan etika, yang merupakan dasar dari kepribadian yang baik.
