Definisi Transfer Pricing• Yaitu jumlah uang yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan setiap transfer barang/jasa antar RC, atau• Nilai uang yang dilekatkan pada suatu transfer barang/jasa pada transaksi yang melibatkan setidaknya salah satu dari kedua pihak yang terlibat adalah sebuah PL• Harga itu mencari elemen laba• Isu TP muncul karena desentralisasi organisasi• Bagaimana cara untuk menjelaskan aktivitas trasfer barang/jasa dari satu PL ke PL yang lain?• Jika dua PL sama-sama bertanggung jawab untuk pengembangan, pemanufakturan, dan pemasaran satu produk yang sama• Mereka harus membagi pendapatan yang dihasilkan dari penjualan akhir produk tersebut.• TP adalah mekanisme untuk pendistribusian pendapatan ini.Tujuan Transfer Pricing• Memberikan kepada masing-masing BU informasi yang relevan untuk menentukan trade-off yang optimum antara kos dan pendapatan perusahaan.• Mendorong pengambilan keputusan yang selaras dengan sasaran organisasi.• Membantu pengukuran kinerja ekonomik.• Membuat sistem pentransferan harga lebih mudah untuk dipahami dan diadministrasikan.Prinsip Dasar• Isu TP:• Sama seperti isu penetapan harga secara umum• Plus pertimbangan atas faktor yang unik dari transaksi internal• Prinsip utama:• TP sama dengan harga yang dibebankan seandainya produk tersebut• Dijual kepada pembeli luar atau• Dibeli dari penjual luar.Bagaimana Penetapan Transfer Price?• Masih banyak ketidaksepakatan untuk penetapan harga jual luar tersebut.• Dua keputusan yang harus dibuat secara periodik untuk masing-masing produk:• Memproduksi sendiri atau membeli dari luar?(Keputusan penentuan sumber)• Jika harus diproduksi sendiri, berapa harga yang harusdikenakan jika produk ditransfer antar PL?
