Objective: This research aims to determine the anxiety level of the parents of babies hospitalized with a diagnosis of transient tachypnea of newborn and related factors. Method: This is a descriptive research. The research was done between February–August 2017 in the neonatal intensive care unit of a public hospital. Research sample consists of 200 parents. In order to collect data, Spielberger’s “State-Trait Anxiety Inventory” and “Parent Information Form” and “Infant Information Sheet” are used. Results: The study shows that state anxiety levels of parents 40.17±10.80 are mild, continuous anxiety levels 52.59±5.10 are found to be high.
