Pemaknaan Hidup Selibat pada Pastor

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pemaknaan hidup selibat pada pastor dimana budaya Indonesia menempatkan pernikahan sebagai norma sosial, namun pilihan hidup selibat merupakan fenomena yang menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) untuk menggali pengalaman subjektif. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari tiga pastor yang menjalani pelayanan pastoral di Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan satu tema utama: spiritualitas sebagai system makna dalam menjalani kehidupan selibat.
