Concepciones filosóficas del poder. Una indagación sobre la última dictadura militar argentina (1976- 1983)

Abstract

<p>El propósito del presente trabajo es comparar el concepto de biopoder y soberanía de Foucault con dispositivos de la última dictadura militar argentina. La soberanía y el biopoder, entendidos como ejercicios de poder dirigido a hacer morir o dejar vivir y hacer vivir o dejar morir respectivamente, son instancias opuestas pero complementarias en la obra de Foucault. Por otro lado, el último golpe de estado argentino es generalmente interpretado como la toma del poder por parte de civiles y militares, induciendo en ello la usurpación de las instituciones gubernamentales, y el ejercicio despótico de la muerte sobre la población de manera soberana.</p><p>Sin embargo, el tratamiento de los detenidos políticos, con respecto a la economía de castigo implicada en el secuestro, detención, tortura, asesinato o desaparición, no se desarrolla de manera discrecional. La muerte y tortura se ejercen de un modo particular, siendo disimulada en la figura del desaparecido y desplegada de manera oculta en los centros clandestinos de detención. Esto marca una limitación en el ejercicio del poder, cierta cautela en el tratamiento de la vida que desarrolla en paralelo con las otras prácticas mencionadas y que requiere estrategias que permitan disimular las acciones.</p>
