APLICAÇÃO DO ETHREL NO ARMAZENAMENTO DE MIRTILOS

Abstract

O mirtilo pertence ao grupo das pequenas frutas, o qual apresenta o maior potencial de desenvolvimento do mercado consumidor, principalmente pelas qualidades nutricionais e medicinais presentes nos frutos. Este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar o comportamento pós-colheita e as qualidades físico-químicas dos frutos quando tratados com e sem aplicação de Ethrel e armazenados em temperatura ambiente. O experimento foi realizado em frutos da cultivar Climax adquido na safra 2017/2018 no mercado municipal de Curitiba- Pr, os tratamento foram aplicação ou não de Ethrel sobre a epiderme dos frutos e nove repetições, os frutos foram armazenados em temperatura ambiente e analisadas as qualidades físicas de diâmetro, massa e perda de massa fresca dos frutos, além das qualidades químicas, sólidos solúveis totais, acidez titulável total e ratio. Os frutos apresentaram redução no diâmetro dos frutos, massa fresca e Acidez Titulável Total dos frutos durante o armazenamento em temperatura ambiente e elevação em perda de massa fresca, Sólidos Solúveis e Ratio. Podemos concluir que frutos de miritilo apresentaram variações nas qualidades físico-químicas dos frutos durante o armazenamento em temperatura ambiente dos frutos, entretanto é necessário mais estudos para definição do comportamento pós-colheita dos frutos.
