IDENTIFIKASI WASTE DEFECT DENGAN VALSAT DAN PEMBUATAN JADWAL MAINTENANCE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AVAILABILITY DAN MENGURANGI DEFECT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan meminimalkan waste pada proses produksi Join Maple di PT Masindo, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri komponen otomotif. Pendekatan Lean Manufacturing menggunakan metode Value Stream Mapping (VSM) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi alur proses produksi. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan Value Stream Analysis Tool (VALSAT) sebagai alat untuk mengidentifikasi waste. Berdasarkan Waste Relationship Matrix (WRM), masalah utama yang ditemukan adalah waste defect, menyebabkan waktu produksi menjadi lebih lama akibat penambahan waktu rework. Sehingga hasil analisis WRM menunjukkan bahwa waste tertinggi berasal dari produk defect. Terdapat lima jenis defect pada produk join maple: gosong, dimensi kepala kecil, dan burry. Berdasarkan mapping tools dengan menggunakan Quality Filter Mapping (QFM), ditemukan bahwa defect burry menjadi defect paling dominan yang terjadi pada proses cutting, sebesar 1,26% yang melebihi standar perusahaan sebesar 1%. Berdasarkan fishbone diagram faktor utama defect burry disebabkan oleh maintanace yang bersifat corrective, belum adanya jadwal pergantian pahat berkala, dan minimnya budaya 5S/R. Solusi yang diusulkan adalah pembuatan jadwal pengecekan pahat harian dan checksheet pengecekan, jadwal pergantian pahat berkala, saran Jidouka pengasahan pahat guna mengurangi defect burry. Hasil improvement menunjukkan bahwa Availability produksi meningkat dan tingkat defect diharapkan dapat turun.
