Abstract

El folklorista estadounidense alan lomax visitó en los primeros días de septiembre de 1952 las localidades de la Solana y Villanueva de los Infantes (C. Real) pertenecientes al Campo de Montiel. allí grabó cerca de un centenar de cortes que contienen una amplia selección de la música tradicional y popular de la época y que poseen sin duda un gran valor para los amantes y estudiosos de la etnomusicología.
