Abstract

Der Expertise-Umkehr-Effekt besagt, dass Lernende mit ungünstigen Lernvoraussetzungen von Unterstützungsmaßnahmen profitieren, während diese für Lernende mit günstigen Voraussetzungen nachteilig sein können. Um Schüler:innen im naturwissenschaftlichen Unterricht der Primarstufe optimal zu fördern, müssen Unterrichtsmaterialien daher -- im Sinne von adaptivem Unterricht -- an die Voraussetzungen angepasst werden. In der vorliegenden Forschungsarbeit wurden zwei differenzielle Lernsettings zum Thema Schwimmen und Sinken erstellt -- ein Comic mit und ein Comic ohne zusätzliche Visualisierungen -- anhand derer der Expertise-Umkehr-Effekt untersucht wurde. Das übergeordnete Ziel der Arbeit war die Untersuchung der Wirkungen der beiden unterschiedlichen Comics auf den Lernerfolg von Grundschulkindern in Abhängigkeit von ihren Voraussetzungen. Dazu wurden quasi-experimentelle Interventionsstudien (N=166) im Prä-Post-Design im naturwissenschaftlichen Unterricht der Primarstufe durchgeführt. Es zeigt sich, dass leseschwache Schüler:innen mit dem Comic mit zusätzlichen Visualisierungen den höchstmöglichen Lernerfolg erzielen, während lesestarke Schüler:innen mit dem Comic ohne zusätzliche Visualisierungen einen höheren Lernerfolg erreichen. Im Rahmen der Untersuchung konnte anhand des Lernerfolgs der Expertise-Umkehr-Effekt repliziert werden. Für die Unterrichtspraxis liegen damit Beispiele für adaptive Lernmaterialien vor.
