Acordo ortográfico

Abstract

Este estudo foi realizado pelas acadêmicas do segundo semestre de Licenciamento em Letras, na Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), com o intuito de realizar uma pesquisa que evidenciasse todas as etapas da 5ª edição do Vocabulário Ortográfico da Língua Portuguesa (VOLP). Com a aplicação deste estudo ficou claro que o Acordo Ortográfico teve como seu principal objetivo tentar unificar a língua, procurando assim facilitar os acordos econômicos e políticos internacionais. Observou-se no decorrer dos estudos que houve resistências oriundas dos países envolvidos pelo acordo, e que tais resistências adiaram o seu vigor, tendo em vista que era necessário o aval da maioria dos envolvidos. Evidentemente a língua é um fator de discordância, pois é ela que define a autonomia de uma nação, a unificação da língua na sua forma escrita é um benefício a todas as nações que só será valorizado após serem tomadas as devidas adequações. O estudo enfatiza que toda mudança sofre com impactos, toda mudança gera desconforto e desagrada a muitos, porém é necessária e irrevogável, ou seja, sendo o acordo bom ou não, trazendo benefícios ou não ele existe e terá que ser aplicado e cabe aos países lusófonos se adequarem a tal situação.
