Perbedaan Kekerasan Permukaan Resin Komposit Setelah Paparan Asap Rokok Filter dan Rokok Elektrik

Abstract

Resin komposit merupakan bahan tumpatan gigi yang memiliki beberapa sifat mekanis salah satunya yaitu kekasaran permukaan. Kekasaran permukaan dapat meningkat karena beberapa faktor seperti kebiasaan merokok. Jenis rokok yang banyak digunakan digunakan di Indonesia pada urutan kedua dan ketiga yaitu rokok filter dan elektrik secara berurutan. Kedua jenis rokok ini dapat mempengaruhi kekerasan permukaan resin komposit karena menghasilkan penurunan ph saliva yang dihasilkan dari asap rokok. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kekerasan permukaan resin komposit setelah paparan asap rokok filter dan rokok elektrik. Metode: sebanyak 27 sampel resin komposit nanohybrid yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok kemudian dilakukan perlakuan yang berbeda. Selanjutnya seluruh kelompok dilakukan uji kekerasan permukaan menggunakan vicker hardness tester. Hasil: uji kekerasan permukaan resin komposit menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pada kelompok kontrol dan terjadi penurunan pada kelompok perlakuan yaitu dengan penurunan tertinggi pada kelompok perlakuan asap rokok filter. Hasil uji paired t-test dan one-way ANOVA menunjukkan nilai p yaitu >0,00. Kesimpulan: tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah pemaparan asap rokok filter maupun elektrik
