Percepciones de los estudiantes sobre el proceso de convergencia europeo

Abstract

El proceso de Convergencia Europea ha centrado el debate en los últimos años dentro del ámbito universitario y social con la llegada del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES). En este escenario, en la actualidad, existen temas candentes como, entre otros, la unificación de los sistemas europeos y el reconocimiento de los títulos a nivel internacional, los cambios en el modelo de enseñanza y el uso de nuevas metodologías y formas de evaluación. El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar las percepciones que tienen los estudiantes de Educación Infantil de la Universidad de Granada sobre el proceso de Convergencia Europea (EEES), basadas en su propia experiencia, a través del plan de estudios de su titulación. El instrumento empleado fue un cuestionario creado “ad hoc”, que indaga sobre estas cuestiones planteadas, que fue aplicado a 116 estudiantes de la titulación referida. Los resultados mostraron que los estudiantes, por una parte, no valoran de forma positiva las reformas introducidas por el EEES aunque aseguran tener un escaso conocimiento sobre aspectos relacionados con la movilidad y el reconocimiento internacional de su titulación. A nivel metodológico, es valorada la inclusión del aprendizaje de competencias y el uso de metodologías activas que posibiliten una formación integral de los estudiantes.
